Christian Counseling
Integrating Your Christian Faith Into The Healing Process
Counseling That Honors Both Your Heart & Your Faith
As a Christian, I believe that emotional and spiritual healing often grow together. Faith-based counseling creates space for your relationship with God, your questions about Scripture, and your experiences with church or Christian community to be part of the conversation.
Together, we might:
Explore how your beliefs about God, yourself, and others shape your choices
Use Scripture to speak truth into anxious or shame-based thoughts
Pray together in session, if that feels comfortable for you
Process past church or spiritual hurts that impact your trust in God or others
Connect your counseling goals with what you sense God inviting you into
You are always free to decide how much or how little we incorporate faith into our time.
You Choose the Level of Faith Integration
Not every client wants the same level of faith integration, and that is completely okay. During our initial sessions, we will talk about your preferences. Some clients want faith mentioned occasionally, while others want Scripture and prayer to be a regular part of our work. My role is to honor your comfort level and provide a safe place for your honest questions.
Why True Vine Christian Counseling?
The name True Vine Christian Counseling comes from John 15, where Jesus says, “I am the true vine… remain in me.” Life can pull us in many directions and leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, from God, and from others. My hope is that counseling becomes a place where you can slow down, reconnect with the One who sustains you, and grow in healthy, lasting ways. Healing is not about striving harder, but about staying rooted in Christ as you learn new ways of thinking, feeling, and living.
